SalesGossip closed an oversubscribed 2nd round of funding at just under $1m (£600K). The founders decided to increase the amount raised by 20% to accommodate higher than expected investor demand and bring on board some high profile new angel investors.
As a great sign of trust in the company, 75% of SalesGossip's current investors participated in the new financing round. In just 1 year, the initial investors saw the value of their investment increase by 228%. This further validates the SalesGossip business model and the management's execution capabilities.
The company continues its successful co-operation with over 900 brands and retailers. As a further sign of its positive resonance with shoppers, SalesGossip is seeing the number of international shoppers increasing rapidly, in addition to its loyal and growing UK-base, further strengthening their position as leading digital marketing company for fashion and beauty retailers.
In 2013 SalesGossip has been voted the 12th best website to save money by The Times, been shortlisted among the top 100 most disruptive start-ups in the UK by Startups.co.uk and won the prestigious Smarta 100’s Female Entrepreneur of the Year award.
