The UK has some of the best fiscal incentives for angel investors in the world.  Under the Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme which came into being in April 2012,  investors can invest up to £100k in qualifying investments per annum and benefit from 50% income tax relief and 50% capital gains tax relief if they reinvest those gains using SEIS.  Loss relief is also applicable. SEIS qualifying companies cannot have been trading for more than 2 years and must not have raised capital before under EIS.

Under the Enterprise Investment Scheme, investors can invest up to £1m in qualifying investments per annum and benefit from 30% income tax relief and capital gains can be deferred. Typically EIS eligible companies have been trading for longer than SEIS companies and have already raised a round of finance.
